Are you currently working through a theory book, starting to prepare for a music theory grade, or working towards your next music theory exam? Our Music Theory Refresher Class is designed for students just like you. It’s a supportive, flexible session where you can focus on your own progress and get expert help along the way.
Students must bring their own music theory book (and any other resources they’re using) to work from during the class.
This is the ideal opportunity to:
- Ask questions about anything you’ve been stuck on
- Get clear, friendly explanations for tricky topics
- Check your understanding before practising the wrong thing for weeks
- Fill in knowledge gaps and move forward with more speed and confidence
- Get support if you’re working towards your next music theory exam
Because it’s a mixed-ability class, each student will work with their own materials and at their own pace, with individual guidance and plenty of encouragement throughout.
Whether you need a confidence boost, help keeping momentum, or just want to make sure you’re on the right track, this class is perfect for students who’ve already started theory and want a helping hand to keep progressing.
Light refreshments provided. Cost: £25.
Important Information
Booking Deadline: 7 days before the workshop.
Age Requirements: The minimum age for workshops is 7 years.
Capacity: A minimum of 3 participants is required for each workshop to be viable, with a maximum of 10.
Payment: All workshops are to be paid for in advance via the booking link.
Refund Policy: Refunds are permitted up to 7 days before the workshop day.
Venue: The Bee's Keys Piano Studio, Gipsy Lane, Swindon, SN2 8YY.
Plenty of free parking and loos are available.
